There was a moment in time when Arby's was The Official Restaurant Of The PGA Tour. Read that again. Running ads next to Jaguar and Rolexes and cruise ships. The sponsorship came after a series of events wherein Arby's also sponsored the fun-loving, beer-drinking British golf sensation Andrew "Beef" Johnston, solely because of his name. We launched it all by giving Arby's an everyman golf stance.
Scripts for the launch were written one week, shot at North Middlesex Golf Club in London the week after, and edited/finished back in the states the following week. Then my wife and I went on our honeymoon to Iceland, Germany, and Austria. Not a timeline for the faint of heart.

And when the hectic 2-day shoot wrapped, we got a photo of our team, I smooched Beef on the cheek, and we drank pub ales in the clubhouse he grew up in:
My Dad, the inimitable Tom Behrends (17 handicap), enjoyed the fruit of his son's labors on Christmas morning:
DREAMTEAM: Charlie Wolff, Matt Terrell, and myself.
